Libya Oil Ethiopia Limited is one of the key players engaged in the supply, distribution and marketing of fuels, lubricants and other petroleum products in the Ethiopian Market.

With regards to fuels, we offer a wide range of products namely; Automotive Gasoil - AGO (diesel), Mogas Regular Gasoline – MGR (petrol), Light Fuel Oil - LFO, Heavy Fuel Oil – HFO, illuminating kerosene - KERO, Jet Fuel – Jet A1 and Ethanol blended Gasoline – ME5 or ME10.

Besides, to ensure our customers receive quality petroleum products, we have contracted world class petroleum delivery trucks to transport products from storage terminals and plants to the service stations. These trucks have been fitted with equipment and facilities that meet international petroleum trucking standards. The seals on the trucks are tamper proof, ensuring that clean products are delivered to our service stations for sale to our retail consumers. Concerning this, we have a well-established product quality assurance system to guard products from possible contamination and mitigate against any product related incident at the service stations if so happen.

We have also developed route and site maps which guide our delivery trucks on specific routes, and truck positioning at the service stations before, during and after product off-loading.

We have currently introduced Global Positioning System (GPS) as well on our vehicles to boost security of our people and our products.

Last but not least, we also uphold high safety standards at all times to ensure that our customers, neighbors and the people at large are safe. We want you to feel the African energy through our wide range of products and services at our service stations countrywide.

Jet A-1 Specification

The Aviation Quality Requirements for Jointly Operated Systems (AFQRJOS) For Jet A-1 embodies the Most Stringent requirements of the following two specifications:

British Ministry of Defence Standard DEF STAN 91-91/Issue 5 of 8 February 2005 and Amendment 2, dated 9 March 2007, for Turbine Fuel, Aviation “Kerosene Type”, Jet A-1, NATO Code F-35, Joint Service Designation AVTUR.

ASTM Standard Specification D1655 –06d for Aviation Turbine Fuels “Jet A-1”.

Note:All Jet A-1 deliveries shall be done with sufficient Stadius 450 from the load port to a minimum CONDUCTIVITY level of 200 Ps/m and one drum of 5 litres of Stadius 450 to be supplied on board vessel free of charge.
